What does our November promotion mean for you?
When you submit your case, you make an advance payment. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, this advance payment is 10% lower than the standard rate throughout November.
- Your undisputed invoice is paid in full? You receive the original invoice amount and get your advance payment back.
- Payment is not received? Your reduced advance payment is your maximum cost.

10 years Unpaid: €48 million recovered for Belgian businesses
In 2016, Belgium introduced the IOS procedure, the Recovery of Undisputed Debts. Before then, recovering an outstanding invoice often meant a lengthy and costly process through the courts.
Unpaid saw an opportunity to do things differently. In December 2016, our platform was launched with one goal: to help businesses recover their undisputed invoices faster and more easily.
Ten years of Unpaid means thousands of businesses, tens of thousands of cases and, above all, plenty of stories. To celebrate our anniversary, we took a brief look back at the past ten years and ahead to what comes next.
Watch our anniversary video below.
Ten Years of Milestones
Ten years later, our approach remains the same
The platform has evolved. Unpaid has grown. But the essentials have not changed.
You submit an undisputed B2B invoice. We review your case and initiate the IOS procedure. Within five working days, a bailiff visits your customer.
Once the formal notice has been served, the debtor has 38 days to pay or agree on a payment plan.
Is your case successfully settled? You receive 100% of your original invoice amount, and the advance payment you made is refunded.
No subscription. No lawyer. No court proceedings.
Just a straightforward process to get paid for the work you have already done.
“The IOS procedure enables businesses to recover their outstanding invoices much faster and more efficiently”

Here's to the next ten years
€48 million is an impressive figure. But what matters even more are the thousands of business owners behind that amount.
Thank you to everyone who has entrusted Unpaid with a case over the past ten years.
